Convertible Car Rental in Goa

A convertible in Goa is a car for a mood more than a route: the coast road from Candolim to Morjim with the sea on your left, the climb to Chapora Fort at sunset, an anniversary dinner in Panjim, or the pre-wedding shoot where the car is in half the photographs. We keep three, and they are very different cars. The MINI is small, quick and easy to park. The Audi A3 is the quiet, grown-up one. The Thar Soft Top is the open jeep, half the rate and twice the height, for people who want the wind without the chrome.

Which Convertible Suits You?

• A couple on a coast drive, or an arrival people notice: the MINI Cooper Convertible. Short, nimble, parks in the beach lanes, and the car that gets photographed at Fontainhas.
• A longer day with the roof down and a quieter cabin: the Audi A3 Convertible. More composed at speed on the highway stretches and the better car for two people with weekend bags.
• Four friends, forts and the open jeep feel: the Thar Soft Top. Half the rate, the high seat, and nobody minds the dust. The soft top is the open jeep on rent in Goa that people search for.
• A pre-wedding shoot: any of the three; the MINI in red is the photographers' usual request, the Audi for a formal look, the Thar for a beach set. Tell us the shoot location and time and we deliver there.

Best Months for Roof-Down Drives

Roughly November to February is the season: dry, bright, and cool enough in the mornings and evenings for the roof to stay down. March to May is dry but hot from late morning, so the roof goes down early, at sunset and after dark. In the monsoon, roughly June to September, the convertibles are handed over with the roof up; rain in Goa arrives in minutes, and a wet cabin is a cleaning charge under our terms. October is the shoulder: showers thin out through the month and the roof-down evenings come back.

A Few Honest Notes

• Boot space is small on all three with the roof folded. Two soft weekend bags, not suitcases. For an airport arrival with luggage, collect the convertible from your hotel the next day.
• Sun: the midday heat with the roof down from March onwards is real. Hats, water and the roof up between noon and four.
• Night parking: put the roof up and lock it. The car is in your care from handover to return, as our terms say.
• Each convertible is one car. For Christmas and New Year week, Carnival in February and wedding weekends, book weeks ahead.

What Is Included

• Free delivery and collection anywhere in Goa, including both airports and the railway stations.
• Unlimited kilometres inside Goa. The car cannot leave Goa; the permit does not cover Maharashtra or Karnataka.
• Fuel is extra: same level out, same level back.
• Every driver must be 21 or older with a valid licence, seen at handover, and one government photo ID (Aadhaar, voter ID, PAN or passport).
• The refundable deposit is confirmed on the call and returned within 24 to 48 hours of check in, by UPI or bank transfer.

Convertibles in the 2026 to 2027 Season

The MINI tends to go early for Christmas and New Year week 2026 and again for Carnival in February 2027, when the parade evenings close roads in Panjim, Margao and the other towns; our Carnival and Shigmo guide has the dates and where to leave the car. For a December wedding shoot, book the car before the photographer.
