Karmali Railway Station is a small Konkan Railway halt near Old Goa in Tiswadi taluka, and it is the stop to use if your stay is in Panjim, Porvorim, Dona Paula or Miramar rather than on the beach belt. Not every train stops here, so check your ticket; the ones that do save you the run back from Thivim or Madgaon. It is a quiet station with very few taxis waiting outside, which is the whole case for a pre-booked car: you walk out, the car is there, and you are in the capital before the taxi queue at Madgaon has moved.
Where Do We Meet You at Karmali Station?
